Anyone know how to get into the Department of Human Services as a Human Services Assistant? I am starting school next week and need to know how to work my way into this area. I will get an AAS and go to the University in the Winter of 2011.
me2silly4u2no- You are not weird or bad or a baby. Crying is actually good for your emotional well-being. It's cathartic. That means it will help you to let people know you are in pain. I have been out of work for 10 months. Do not give up. McDonalds and Burger King and all these places are probably full up. I see al ot of older people working there to pay for their homes so they won't go to foreclosure. Thank our government for the mess we're in. They have not money, and say "USAs broke." Now, just take a deep breath. Selling items is okay if you have stuff to spare. You can rebuy it when you are working again. BEWARE of SCAM ARTISTS and have faith in yourself. I am in Eugene, OREGON and it's hardluck capitol of the US.

If so, go to The Department of Health and Human Services and say that you are indigent and need food, clothing and a place for your child. You are young and hve every right to ask for help. If there is not bus, ask neighbors, any women you know. I cannot figure out why anyone would be kicking you while you're down. That's disgusting! If not, try calling by phone any social service agency. Asking for help means persistence. If your partner is violent start walking out the door and hitch a ride to town. You are not a bad mother, you need assistance. If you cannot get help call 911!
AARGh! I lke sun and it is a monsoon here. Where are the starving artists. I could sell their work for a 1-3% commission!!!!!! I am good at sales, and I love helping the great artists in Eugene, there are tons of them and they are really good!!!
I go to the museum and I go to the Sat Market sometimes, but the artist walk on the first of the month is awesome!!!!
Eugene is a weird place to live sometimes. There is no job opportunities. I have 2 years of college and when I interview they want all this electronic experience with records and computers and bookkeeping experience which I don't have.
